Prints

I was introduced to printmaking many years ago by the late Sheila Marbain, a great printer who developed the silkscreen monotype technique. Later I worked with Sheila Goloborotko and more recently with Kathy Caraccio. Most of the prints are produced through hand-tooled aluminum intaglio. Using stone, chisel and knife the aluminum plates are cut and gouged like a sculpture. The plates are then printed and proofed on a normal etching press.
